EDMONTON: Children’s Lawn Bowl Event

Lawn BowlingASRAB invites members between the ages of 4-12 to join us for an evening to learn and play lawn bowling! Lawn Bowling is a fun and tactical sport; the object of the game is to roll your bowls down the green so they land closest to the target ball. Blind and Visually Impaired lawn bowlers bowl with the assistance of a Director.

A Director is a sighted partner who give the bowler information and feedback on where to throw, throw position and what’s happening in the game.

Siblings, friends or parents are encouraged to participate as Directors for their children. Light refreshments will be provided. All participants must wear flat soled shoes on the greens, and please dress for the weather as we’ll be outdoors.

Cost: an up to date ASRAB membership ($15 2016)
