This event promises to be a great day for outdoor enthusiasts. Come spend the morning on the waters of Islet Lake learning the basics of Canoeing taught by qualified instructors from the Strathcona Wilderness Centre. In the afternoon we’ll explore the trails around the lake while enhancing our knowledge of the environment around us by being guided by expert biologist, Mark Polet.
This program is open to families, but there is limited spacing during the canoe portion of the day therefore priority will be given to those with visual impairments. Participants will also be asked to bring a packed lunch.
