CALGARY: Archery!

ArcheryArchery is a great way to test out your skills and try something new! Para-Archery is a Paralympic sport, and Visually Impaired archery athletes will be competing in the 2020 Paralympic Games! The objective of the sport is to shoot arrows accurately at a target marked with 10 concentric rings. Instructors will help you learn the proper form and technique for shooting accurately, and a sighted assistant (known as a spotter) will help you shoot safely and give you feedback.

When: Saturday July 29, 2017

What and Where: The Calgary Archery Centre is located at 4855 47 St SE, Calgary, and we will be meeting in front of the building.

Time: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Ages: 10+

Details: You are welcome to bring a friend or family member to assist you as a Spotter.

Registration: There is a registration fee of $15.00. Please register by e-mailing your name age, and phone number to Program.Calgary@asrab.ab.ca
