Volunteer for Sight Night Calgary!

sight night
When the sun goes down on Saturday, November 18th, 2017, the light from hundreds of headlamps will bob and weave along the Bow River Pathway as enthusiasts and supporters of visually impaired Albertans join in sight night Calgary – a fun run after dark.

Raising funds and awareness for the Alberta Sports and Recreation Association for the Blind (ASRAB), sight night, presented by Flaman Fitness, is more than just another run. It is a vision-optional event. Runners who are visually impaired will share the path with sighted runners. The after-dark timing makes it a more even playing field!

Enthusiastic participants will gather at Eau Claire Market for a 5K or 8K run or 3K run/walk on the Bow River Pathway and all registrants will receive a high quality headlamp – the sight night light!

Volunteers are needed to help set up, tear down, hand out food/merchandise and direct runners and walkers down there path.
