EDMONTON – Downhill Skiing

Feb. 10, 2014 – ASRAB is partnering with CADS Edmonton to provide an evening of downhill skiing and snowboarding for those with visual impairments. The Canadian Association for Disabled Skiing will be providing trained instructors and guides for participants. No experience is necessary and all ages are welcome. This is also an opportunity for a parent or partner to learn how to be a ski/snowboard guide.

Date: Thursday, February 20th

Time: 6:30-9pm

Location: Rabbit Hill Snow Resort (25512 Township Rd 510D, just north of Highway 19).

We will meet in the main chalet. Enter through the main doors and head to the right by the benches near the ticket office. Please arrive on time or slightly earlier if you need rental equipment.

Please dress appropriately for the weather. Snow pants, snow jacket, mittens or gloves, a neck warmer or scarf, as well as a toque are highly recommended.

Please let your program coordinator know if you would like to participate but transportation is an issue.
