Walk around Bower Ponds – a practice for Sight Night Red Deer!
ASRAB is excited to invite you to join us for a walk around Bower Ponds this fall! This will be along a portion of the 3KM sight night walk – so it will be a chance to try out the route!
Location: 4715 Fountain Drive, Red Deer, T4N 6W4

Goalball
Children, Youth and Recreation
ASRAB is excited to invite you to learn and play goalball!
Come and try the Paralympic sport of goalball! Goalball is played on a volleyball sized court with tactile tape, an audible ball, and eye shades.
Discover how to play and develop some new skills!
All abilities are welcome. All equipment is provided. All you need to do is show up and have fun!
Cost: Free for members.
Location: Gateway Christian School. 4210 59 St, Red Deer, AB T4N 2M9
Schedule: Saturdays, 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

Bullseye Blind Hockey
Join our program for some all ages fun on the ice!
This program is aimed at learning and developing blind hockey skills through drills and game scenarios.
Participants will need: Full hockey gear for adults. For youth, a hockey helmet, skates, a hockey stick and warm clothing are required. Knee pads and elbow pads are recommended if your child doesn’t have full equipment.
If you need to rent gear, please contact us for options.
Where: Gary Harris Canada Games Center. 120 College Cir, Red Deer, AB T4N 0T7
Cost:
Full Season: $200 for adults and $80 for youth
Time:
October to December: Every other Saturday 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
January to March: Saturdays 11:15 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.
Dates for Fall 2024:
October: 5th, 19th
November: 2nd, 16th, 30th

Sight Night Red Deer
We are thrilled to invite you to participate in an annual event that promises a unique and unforgettable experience – Sight Night, a fun-run where vision is optional!
Sight Night is an exhilarating event that takes place after dark, creating a level-playing field for visually impaired and sighted individuals.
Location: Bower Ponds
Registration includes: headlamp, braille medal and snacks
Race Time: 6pm
