Yoga
Yoga is a spiritual discipline that uses breath control, relaxation techniques, simple meditation, and the adoption of specific bodily postures to increase overall body health. Learn the techniques to a better mind, body and soul through yoga!
Ages: Adults (18+)
Where: Bridgeland Riverside Community Association, 917 Centre Ave NE, Calgary, AB T2E0C6
Time: Tuesdays 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Introduction & Fundamental Movement Skills for Strength Training
We will be working on building strength and balance with resistance and body weight training. We will also be incorporating some basic movements in martial arts.
Participants will be learning and practicing exercises that develop strength and confidence to start training at home or in a gym setting!
Ages: 14+
Where: CNIB – Libin Room, 10 11A St NE Libin Room
Time: Tuesdays 6-8pm

Goalball
Children, Youth and Recreation
ASRAB is excited to invite you to learn and play goalball!
Come and try the Paralympic sport of goalball! Goalball is played on a volleyball sized court with tactile tape, an audible ball, and eye shades.
Discover how to play and develop some new skills!
All abilities are welcome. All equipment is provided. All you need to do is show up and have fun!
Cost: Free for members.
Location: Cedarbrae Community Centre, 11024 Oakfield Dr SW, Calgary, AB T2W 5G6
Schedule: Fridays 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Adults are welcome for the entire session, children are invited for the First hour of each session.

Walking Club
Come catch a breath of fresh air and join in on our walking club! Walking club will be held at different parks and walking paths around the Calgary area. Walking Club will take place outdoors depending on weather conditions.
Dates: Every Sunday (weather permitting and excluding long weekends)
Time: From 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Where: Locations to be announced via e-mail after registration.

Calgary Blind Hockey Seeing Ice Dogs
Hockey season in underway and the Seeing Ice Dogs are back again. This is a co-ed team and all skating/hockey skill levels are welcome!
Helmet with a full face shield/cage and shin guards, gloves are required and full gear is strongly recommended
Ages: 15+ (Anyone younger would depend on size and ability)
Where: Rose Kohn 502 Heritage Dr SW (across from Heritage c-train station)
Time: Sundays 8:30 to 9:30pm

Cost: Annual Fee is $100 per member

Please join ASRAB, to have access to sport and recreation programming for persons with visual impairment. Memberships are on a calendar year (January 1-December 31).
Membership fees:
$20.00 for Individuals [to a maximum of $40.00 per family]
We now have online forms that allow you to complete your membership online and use a credit card to make payment.
