This fast-paced team sport is tons of fun and suitable for players 13 and up who are comfortable skating.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The first practice will be Saturday, November 1, 7:15 &#8211; 8:15 pm\u00a0at Crestwood Arena (9940 147 St NW)<\/p>\n<p>Please contact the <a href=\"mailto:program.edmonton@asrab.ab.ca\">Edmonton Program Coordinator<\/a>\u00a0for a full list of dates and locations<\/p>\n<h2>SKATING<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Learn to Skate<\/strong><br \/>\nDo you or your child want to learn to improve your skating abilities?\u00a0ASRAB is working with Skate Canada: AB, NWT and Nunavut Sectional to create barrier free programming for those with visual impairments who would like to learn how to skate.<\/p>\n<p>The program is part of Skate Canada\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.skatecanada.ca\/en-us\/programs\/canskate.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">CanSkate\u00a0program<\/a>. CanSkate offers programs in most communities through out Alberta so wherever you live in the province we will likely be able to\u00a0accommodate you.<\/p>\n<p>If you would like to find out more or look into registering for a fall program in your area please contact the <a href=\"mailto:program.edmonton@asrab.ab.ca\">Edmonton Program Coordinator<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>SKI and SNOWBOARD<\/h2>\n<p>ASRAB is partnering with CADS Edmonton to provide an opportunity to try downhill skiing and snowboarding. The Canadian Association for Disabled Skiing will be providing trained instructors and guides for participants.\u00a0<span> No experience is necessary and all ages are welcome.\u00a0 This is also an opportunity for a parent or partner to learn how to be a skiing guide.<\/span><br \/>\n<b>Date:\u00a0<\/b><b>\u00a0<\/b><span>Sunday, March 15, 2015<\/span><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong><span>\u00a0Rabbit Hill Snow Resort (25512 Township Road 510A, just North of Highway 19)<\/span><br \/>\n<span> *We will meet at the CADS trailer (first building the left as you go to the main lodge)<\/span><br \/>\n<b>Time:\u00a0<\/b><span>10:00am-12:00pm<\/span><br \/>\n<span> *Please arrive by 9:30am to get rentals<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>SNOWSHOEING<\/h2>\n<div><!--  \n\t\t&mdash; --><\/div>\n<p><!-- end of .post-meta --><\/p>\n<div>\n<p><span>ASRAB members of all ages are invited to come out and learn how to snowshoe, alongside members of the Edmonton Outdoor Club!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>You will have the opportunity to learn how to walk on the snow, test out your skills and enjoy exploring the trails throughout the park.
