Position:<\/b> Right wing, left wing occasionally.<\/span><\/p>\n

How long have you played goalball?<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

I have been playing goalball for 20 years.<\/span><\/p>\n

What has been the highlight of your goalball career?<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Making the World Junior team in 2009 and most recently being named to the National Team. Also, being considered for the future National Team in tournaments.<\/span><\/p>\n

What are your personal and team goals for goalball?<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

My personal goal is to become a better athlete, train more and try to understand more strategies connected to the game. For team goals, we haven\u2019t won Nationals since joining the team in 2014, so that is a goal I have.<\/span><\/p>\n

What other sports do you play?<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

I play hockey, beep baseball, and downhill ski.<\/span><\/p>\n

How has ASRAB helped you?<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

ASRAB has helped me reach my athletic goals by implementing programs to increase my skills. ASRAB has also helped organize optimal training with dedicated coaches. <\/span><\/p>\n

Have you participated in other ASRAB activities?<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Sight Night, hockey, coaching the children\/youth goalball program.<\/span><\/p>\n

What motivates you to continue to participate in sports and recreation with ASRAB?<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

I want to continue to grow as an athlete and what motivates me is achieving athletic goals, such as making a world championship or the Paralympics. I love the challenge of playing a game, as every game is different. <\/span><\/p>\n

Do you have any other personal philosophies on goalball and sport that you would like to share?<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Make sure your worst enemy doesn\u2019t live between your own two ears.<\/span><\/p>\n
