This weekend, from Friday March 24th to Sunday March 26th, the Canadian National Blind Hockey Tournament is taking place in Toronto. 10 ASRAB blind hockey players from across Alberta will be taking part in this event.<\/p>\nThis weekend, from Friday March 24th to Sunday March 26th, the Canadian National Blind Hockey Tournament is taking place in Toronto. 10 ASRAB blind hockey players from across Alberta will be taking part in this event.<\/p>\n
All of the tournament games will be broadcasted with live Play by Play and color commentating by AMI, Accessible Media Inc. You can watch them on your TV (Shaw or Telus, channel 888), or online at http:\/\/blindicehockey.com\/\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n “We have seen tremendous growth over the past five years”, says Canadian Blind Hockey President, and Blind Hockey goalie, Gary Steeves. “At the inaugural 2013 tournament, we only had three teams represented. This year, we have players from nine different Blind Hockey programs across North America. We’ve had growth in every area; more teams, more total players, more female players, more US players.
