Archery is a great way to test out your skills and try something new! Para-Archery is a Paralympic sport, and Visually Impaired archery athletes will be competing in the 2020 Paralympic Games! The objective of the sport is to shoot arrows accurately at a target marked with 10 concentric rings. Instructors will help you learn the proper form and technique for shooting accurately, and a sighted assistant (known as a spotter) will help you shoot safely and give you feedback.<\/p>\n
When<\/strong>: Saturday July 29, 2017<\/p>\n What and Where<\/strong>: The Calgary Archery Centre is located at 4855 47 St SE, Calgary, and we will be meeting in front of the building.<\/p>\n Time<\/strong>: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.<\/p>\n Ages<\/strong>: 10+<\/p>\n Details<\/strong>: You are welcome to bring a friend or family member to assist you as a Spotter.<\/p>\n Registration<\/strong>: There is a registration fee of $15.00.
