Boccia is a precision ball sport that is played at the local, national and international levels by athletes with physical disabilities. Visually Impaired (VI) boccia is where all players are blindfolded throughout the game, use a Tactile Boccia Grid to feel the game through touch and each match comprises of just 2 ends. The aim of the game is to throw leather balls as close as possible to a white target ball called a jack.<\/p>\n
At the end of each round the referee measures the distance of the balls closest to the jack and awards points accordingly. The player with the highest number of points at the end of play is the winner.<\/p>\n
