Join us for a walk in the beautiful river valley! We will meet at the main entrance of the Edmonton Conference Centre to begin and end our walks.<\/p>\n
Guides can be arranged, please let the program coordinator know when you register if you will require a guide walker. Friends and family members are welcome to join as well!<\/p>\n

\nBlind Soccer is played with an audible ball to allow players to locate the ball using sound! Starting with basic skills for the first half, players will move onto playing a small game inside the gym!

\nAre you interested in trying out goalball?
\nGoalball is a team sport where players all wear eyeshades to create an equal playing field. Three players play on each side of the court, use tactile tape to move around the court and while listening for the audible ball to block. The ball is throw by one team while the opposing defend their goal.<\/p>\n
\nWhen<\/strong>: Tuesdays starting September 17th
\nTime<\/strong>: 7:30-10pm
\nAges<\/strong>: All ages
\nKids (15 and younger) play the first hour!<\/p>\nBlind Hockey<\/h3>\n
\nThe game is modified by an adapted puck that makes noise, and is both bigger and slower than a traditional puck. Players’ levels of vision range from legally blind – approximately 10% vision or less – to totally blind, with the lowest vision athletes playing defence or goal. The team is always welcoming new recruits!<\/p>\n
