Are you interested in trying out hockey? Consider joining the Edmonton SeeHawks!<\/p>\n
The game is modified by an adapted puck that makes noise, and is both bigger and slower than a traditional puck. Players’ levels of vision range from legally blind – approximately 10% vision or less – to totally blind, with the lowest vision athletes playing defence or goal. The team is always welcoming new recruits!<\/p>\n

Yoga is a great way to get active in a relaxing and non-competitive environment!<\/p>\n This 6-week program will allow for you to move at your own pace and adapt to your desired level of challenge. Mats will be provided, all you need to bring is your yogi spirit!<\/p>\n Where<\/strong>: Dovercourt Elementary School When<\/strong>: Tuesday, October 22rd to December 3rd Time<\/strong>: 7:30-8:30pm<\/p>\n All Ages and Abilities Welcomed!<\/p>\n Registration Fee<\/strong>: $20(Covers all 6 sessions)<\/p>\n Details<\/strong>: Come in comfortable clothing you can move well in, and bring water to stay hydrated. Teams are separated by a net. The ball is then served over the net and the goal of each team is to ground the ball on the opposing team’s court to score points.<\/p>\n In this program, players we’ll be taken through the basics skills volleyball; ranging from passing, hitting, servings and defending.<\/p>\n Where<\/strong>: Academy at King Edward School When<\/strong>: Time<\/strong>: 6pm-8pm<\/p>\n All Ages and Skill Levels Welcomed!<\/p>\n Details<\/strong>: Come in comfortable clothing you can move well in, and bring water to stay hydrated.<\/p>\n For registration contact Haley at program.edmonton@asrab.ab.ca<\/a> with participants’ age, name and phone number.<\/p>\n Fall has come and it’s time to start up the 2019\/20 Goalball Season!<\/p>\n Are you interested in trying out goalball?<\/p>\n Goalball is a team sport where players all wear eyeshades to create an equal playing field. Three players play on each side of the court, use tactile tape to move around the court and while listening for the audible ball to block. The ball is throw by one team while the opposing defend their goal.<\/p>\n Where<\/strong>: Spruce Avenue School, 11424 102 St Details<\/strong>: Tight athletic pants or shorts are preferred. \nCurling is a game played on ice, especially in Scotland and Canada, in which large round flat stones are slid across the surface toward a target. Members of a team use brooms to sweep the surface of the ice in the path of the stone to control its speed and direction.<\/p>\n
