Snowshoeing Try-it!<\/h4>\n

Want to try out snowshoeing? Snowshoeing offers low impact, aerobic exercise, and can be enjoyed by all ages. Bring your family and friends for this fun activity!<\/p>\n

Blind Hockey<\/h4>\n

Are you interested in trying out hockey? Consider joining the Edmonton SeeHawks!
\nThe game is modified by an adapted puck that makes noise, and is both bigger and slower than a traditional puck. Players’ levels of vision range from legally blind – approximately 10% vision or less – to totally blind, with the lowest vision athletes playing defence or goal. The team is always welcoming new recruits!<\/p>\n

\nNEW ICE TIME!
\nMarch 15th: 2:15-3:15pm at Grand Trunk Arena

Goalball<\/h4>\n

Are you interested in trying out goalball?
\nGoalball is a team sport where players all wear eyeshades to create an equal playing field. Three players play on each side of the court, use tactile tape to move around the court and while listening for the audible ball to block. The ball is throw by one team while the opposing defend their goal.<\/p>\n

YOUTH PRACTICE<\/strong>
\nWhere<\/strong>: Spruce Avenue School, 11424 102 St
\nWhen<\/strong>: Tuesdays every week!
\nThere is no practice on March 24th.
\nTime<\/strong>: 7:30-8:30pm
\nAges<\/strong>: 15 and younger<\/p>\n

ADULTS’ PRACTICE<\/strong>
\nWhere<\/strong>: Grandin School, 9844 110 St NW
\nWhen<\/strong>: Monday March 30th and Monday April 27th
\nTime<\/strong>: 6:30-7:30pm
\nAges<\/strong>: 15 and older<\/p>\n

Details<\/strong>: Tight athletic pants or shorts are preferred. If you have long hair please wear it up.<\/p>\n

National Physical Activity Measure (NPAM) Study
\nComplete an online survey and receive a gift card + the chance to receive a Fitbit! Researchers from the University of Toronto are seeking kids (ages 4 to 17 years) with disabilities and their parents to participate.<\/p>\n
