ASRAB Program Re-Launch Announcement<\/strong><\/p>\n

ASRAB is pleased to re-launch programming!<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

To ensure safety of our members, we have measures set in place for participation in our activities. We will be adhering to Alberta Health Services requirements by running programs with physical distancing, risk mitigation with masks and sanitizer as appropriate, and by having additional paperwork before engaging in activities. We strongly encourage you to bring a mask to activities. if you are sick, please refrain from attending. We are very excited to welcome members back to our programs- join in on the fun!<\/p>\n

Edmonton Seahawks – Back in Action!<\/h4>\n

Hockey season is back! Join our Edmonton Seehawks to play some Blind Hockey!
\nBlind hockey is modified by an adapted puck that makes noise, and is both bigger and slower than a traditional puck. Players’ levels of vision range from legally blind – approximately 10% vision or less – to totally blind, with the lowest vision athletes playing defence or goal. The team is always welcoming new recruits!<\/p>\n

Virtual Movement for Me<\/h4>\n

Join us virtually in our Movement for Me class! The class teaches members a variety of physical literacy skills, such a hopping, skipping, throwing, catching, and many more, through games and fun activities! Physical literacy is important to develop as it is a stepping stone to being physically active for life!<\/p>\n

When<\/strong>: Thursday from October 22nd to November 26th
\nTime<\/strong>: 6:00 – 6:30pm
\nAges<\/strong>: 4 – 10 years old

Virtual Sport Literacy Program<\/h4>\n

Ready to take your fundamental movement skills to the next level? Join us virtually in our Sport Literacy class! The class focuses on learning sport movements and different exercises that help participants get ahead by being able to learn sport skills in an adapted setting.<\/p>\n
