Try-It Lawn Bowls!<\/h3>\n

Come on down and try out Lawn Bowling! For all ages and skill levels. Lawn bowling is a sport in which the objective is to roll special balls “bowls” toward a small target called a “jack”. The game is played on a bowling green in the great outdoors.<\/p>\n

All equipment is provided. Wear comfortable clothes and flat soled shoes. All age groups are welcome! If possible bring a friend to assist you. Volunteer assistance is available. Minors must be accompanied by parent or guardian and they must remain during the session. There is no fee.<\/p>\n

Dates<\/strong>:
\nTuesday, June 7 at 7-8pm
\nTuesday, June 14 at 7-8pm
\nTuesday, June 21 at 7-8pm<\/p>\n

Location<\/strong>: Stanley Park Lawn Bowling Club

Junior Adapted Golf Program with the City of Calgary<\/h3>\n

As the nicer weather approaches, why not come try out an adapted golf program with the City of Calgary! Clubs and equipment are provided if needed. Please dress appropriately for the weather and come prepared to be outdoors. Feel free to bring a partner to help you along the way or let us know if you prefer an ASRAB volunteer to help you along the way. Please note that professional pictures may be taken of this program for marketing purposes only. Please find the attached Photo Waiver that needs to be signed and brought with you upon arrival.<\/p>\n

\nFriday, May 20, 2022 at 5p.m. – 6p.m.
\nFriday, May 27, 2022 at 5p.m. – 6p.m.
\nFriday, June 2, 2022 Playing Lesson on Par 3 Course at 5p.m. – 6:30 p.m.<\/p>\n

Ages<\/strong>: 6-17<\/p>\n

Where<\/strong>: McCall Lake Golf Course located at 1600 32nd Ave NE Calgary, AB T2E 6R6<\/p>\n

Meeting Area<\/strong>: The putting green area south of the Clubhouse. Please arrive 15 minutes early as the sessions will start promptly.<\/p>\n

Registration<\/strong>: Please register by e-mailing Execdirector@asrab.ab.ca<\/a> with participants age, name, height, if they are right or left hand dominant, and phone number. Please note there is a maximum of 8 participants per session. Registration will be first come first serve.<\/p>\n

Walking Club!<\/h3>\n

Walking club will be held at different parks and walking paths around the Calgary area. Walking Club will take place outdoors depending on weather conditions. Get outdoors and enjoy some physical activity this winter!<\/p>\n

Dates<\/strong>: Every Sunday (weather permitting)<\/p>\n

Time<\/strong>: From 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.<\/p>\n

Where<\/strong>: Locations to be announced via e-mail.<\/p>\n
