Line Dancing!<\/h3>\n

Come and learn some fun line dances before Stampede hits. We can get you all ready to hit the dance floor and show off your moves!<\/p>\n

Where<\/strong>: Bridgeland-Riverside Community Hall 917 Centre Ave. N.E. Calgary, AB T2E 0C6<\/p>\n

When<\/strong>: Wednesday July 6 & Friday July 8<\/p>\n

Time<\/strong>: 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.<\/p>\n

Walking Club!<\/h3>\n

Walking club will be held at different parks and walking paths around the Calgary area. Walking Club will take place outdoors depending on weather conditions. Get outdoors and enjoy some physical activity this winter!<\/p>\n

Dates<\/strong>: Every Sunday (weather permitting)<\/p>\n

Time<\/strong>: From 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.<\/p>\n

Where<\/strong>: Locations to be announced via e-mail.<\/p>\n

Western Canadian Blind Golf Championships<\/strong><\/p>\n

When: July 4-6 2022<\/p>\n

Where: Inglewood Golf and Country Club<\/p>\n

July 4th: this will be a practice round for competitive players and a 9 hole event for recreational golfers. For those golfers with a vision impairment that want to have a game and check out the competition \u2013 this is a great starting point.<\/p>\n

July 5-6: Competitive golfers for two rounds. You must have a minimum of 3 recorded scores and a coach. You must register with Western Canadian Blind Golf Association.<\/p>\n

The 2022 Paragolf Junior Clinic<\/strong><\/p>\n

When: July 4, 2022<\/p>\n

Where: Inglewood Golf and Country Club 10am-noon.<\/p>\n

City of Calgary Family Adaptive Golf<\/strong><\/p>\n

Families with juniors (4-17 years old) of all abilities and disabilities are invited to join us for a fun evening of inclusive golf!<\/p>\n

Stanley Park Lawn Bowling Club<\/strong><\/p>\n

Stanley Park Lawn Bowling Club has introduced a Para Bowls Program for children* and adults who are visually impaired or physically disabled and are eight (8) years of age and older. Stanley Park Lawn Bowling Club is located at 350 – 42 Avenue SW in Stanley Park. The clubhouse and lawn bowling green are located a short distance (on level asphalt sidewalk) from the “on site” Stanley Park car parking lot. All the equipment is provided. All that’s needed is a flat soled (heel less) pair of shoes and comfortable clothing.<\/p>\n

Drop-ins are welcome to ‘Try Bowls” on every Tuesday evening starting at 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm and every Thursday afternoon starting at 1:30pm to 2:30 pm during the months of June, July and August. (Up to Tuesday August 30th).<\/p>\n

The Stanley Park Lawn Bowling Club Para Bowls Program Co-ordinators are Glen Burnelle and Kathryn MacGregor.<\/p>\n

Calgary Lawn Bowling Club will be hosting Bowls Alberta’s 2022 Provincial Para Bowls Championships on July 29 to 31. The first ever Bowls Canada “Open” 2022 Canadian Para Bowls Championships will be held on September 11 – 17 at the Windsor ON Lawn Bowling Club. A squad of para bowlers and their assistant will be identified at that event to work towards representing Canada at the World Bowls Championships scheduled to be held in 2023 in Australia.<\/p>\n
