Holiday Bowling Party<\/h3>\n

Members and families are all welcome to come join us for a festive 5-pin bowling party at the Chinook Bowladrome!<\/p>\n

Light refreshments provided. All ages and abilities are welcome!<\/p>\n

Where<\/strong>: Chinook Bowladrome (inside Chinook Centre, 6455 Macleod Trail, Calgary, AB T2H 0K8)<\/p>\n

When<\/strong>: December 11th<\/p>\n

Time<\/strong>: 3pm to 5pm<\/p>\n

Goalball: Children, Youth and Recreation<\/h3>\n

Discover how to play Goalball and develop some new skills! All abilities are welcome. All equipment is provided. All you need to do is show up and have fun!<\/p>\n

Cost<\/strong>: Free for members.<\/p>\n

Location<\/strong>: Bob Niven Training Centre (Winsport), 88 Canada Olympic Rd SW, Calgary, AB T3B 5R5<\/p>\n

Schedule<\/strong>: Adults are welcome for the entire session, children are invited for the second hour of each session.<\/p>\n

Skating: Learn to Skate and Recreational Blind Hockey<\/h3>\n

Join our program for some all ages fun on the ice!<\/p>\n

This program is aimed at developing skating skills and practicing hockey drills.<\/p>\n

One half of the ice will be devoted to learning how to skate and the other half will be devoted to learning blind hockey skills and drills.<\/p>\n

Participants will need<\/strong>: hockey helmet, skates, a stick, and normal warm-weather clothing including gloves, as the rink is cool. Elbow pads and knee pads are recommended.<\/p>\n

If you need to rent gear, please contact us for options.<\/p>\n

Where<\/strong>: YYC Hockey Hub (10 Stonehill Pl NE #150, Calgary, AB T3N 1T7)<\/p>\n

Cost<\/strong>: $100 for the entire season (10 sessions, October 15th to January 21st. Pro-rated for new participants)<\/p>\n

Time<\/strong>: Saturdays, 7:45am-8:45am<\/p>\n

Yoga<\/h3>\n

Weekly yoga is back this fall! Yoga is a spiritual discipline that uses breath control, relaxation techniques, simple meditation, and the adoption of specific bodily postures to increase overall body health. Learn the techniques to a better mind, body and soul through yoga!<\/p>\n

Where<\/strong>: Bridgeland Riverside Community Association located at 917 Centre Ave NE, Calgary, AB T2E 0C6<\/p>\n

When<\/strong>: Weekly Tuesday Mornings<\/p>\n

November 29th, December 6th, December 13th<\/p>\n

Time<\/strong>: 10:30am to 12:00pm (please note this is a change from previous sessions)<\/p>\n

Cost<\/strong>: Free for members<\/p>\n

Walking Club<\/h3>\n

Walking club will be held at different parks and walking paths around the Calgary area. Walking Club will take place outdoors depending on weather conditions.<\/p>\n

Dates<\/strong>: Every Sunday (weather permitting and excluding long weekends)<\/p>\n

Time<\/strong>: From 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.<\/p>\n

Where<\/strong>: Locations to be announced via e-mail after registration.<\/p>\n
