Movement for Me – Children<\/h3>\n

Calling all kids! We want to help children with visual impairments to have a great start to an active life by focusing on developing fundamental movement skills.<\/p>\n

Take part in fun activities that teach skills like throwing, jumping, balance and running.<\/p>\n

Where<\/strong>: CNIB Centre – Libin Room, 10 11A Street NE, Calgary AB T2E 4Z3<\/p>\n

When<\/strong>: March 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th<\/p>\n

Time<\/strong>: 6-7pm<\/p>\n

Cost<\/strong>: Free for Children<\/p>\n

Sport Literacy – for Youth<\/h3>\n

Register Now Online!<\/a><\/p>\n

Sport Literacy is for previous students who have mastered the fundamental movement skills and are ready for more of a challenge.<\/p>\n

This program introduces sport specific skills that will set up members for success in recreational or sports activities.<\/p>\n

Where<\/strong>: CNIB Centre – Libin Room, 10 11A Street NE, Calgary AB T2E 4Z3<\/p>\n

When<\/strong>: March 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th<\/p>\n

Time<\/strong>: 7-8pm<\/p>\n

Cost<\/strong>: Free for Youth<\/p>\n

Goalball<\/h3>\n

Children, Youth and Recreation<\/p>\n

ASRAB is excited to invite you to learn and play goalball!<\/p>\n

Come and try the Paralympic sport of goalball! Goalball is played on a volleyball sized court with tactile tape, an audible ball, and eye shades.<\/p>\n

Discover how to play and develop some new skills!<\/p>\n

All abilities are welcome. All equipment is provided. All you need to do is show up and have fun!<\/p>\n

Cost<\/strong>: Free for members.<\/p>\n

Location<\/strong>: Bob Niven Training Centre (Winsport), 88 Canada Olympic Rd SW, Calgary, AB T3B 5R5<\/p>\n

Schedule<\/strong>: Sundays 10am to 12pm<\/p>\n

Adults are welcome for the entire session, children are invited for the second hour of each session.<\/p>\n

March:12th, 19th, 26th<\/p>\n

April: 16th, 23rd, 30th<\/p>\n

May: 7th<\/p>\n

Walking Club<\/h3>\n

Walking club will be held at different parks and walking paths around the Calgary area. Walking Club will take place outdoors depending on weather conditions.<\/p>\n

Dates<\/strong>: Every Sunday (weather permitting and excluding long weekends)<\/p>\n

Time<\/strong>: From 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.<\/p>\n

Where<\/strong>: Locations to be announced via e-mail after registration.<\/p>\n

Registration<\/strong>: Please register by e-mailing Program.Calgary@asrab.ab.ca<\/a> with participants age, name and phone number.<\/p>\n
