Join us at Lasting Strides Equine for therapy riding! Build a connection with a horse by brushing, grooming, and riding.<\/p>\n

Where<\/strong>: Lasting Strides Equine, Range Rd 281, Delacour, AB T0M0T0<\/p>\n

When<\/strong>: Friday August 11, 2023<\/p>\n

Time<\/strong>: 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.<\/p>\n

Sailing Try-it!<\/h3>\n

Join us for a group sailing experience with the Disabled Sailing Association of Alberta! They offer sailing that is accessible for all ages and abilities.<\/p>\n

Ages<\/strong>: All Ages<\/p>\n

Where<\/strong>: DSAA Boatyard, 8415 24 ST. SW<\/p>\n

When<\/strong>: Wednesday August 23, 2023<\/p>\n

Time<\/strong>: 6:30 – 8:00 p.m.<\/p>\n

Cost<\/strong>: $20 for members<\/p>\n

Walking Club<\/h3>\n

Walking club will be held at different parks and walking paths around the Calgary area. Walking Club will take place outdoors depending on weather conditions.<\/p>\n

Dates<\/strong>: Every Sunday (weather permitting and excluding long weekends)<\/p>\n

Time<\/strong>: From 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.<\/p>\n

Where<\/strong>: Locations to be announced via e-mail after registration.<\/p>\n

Alt Route and CNIB Skateboarding!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Learn how to skateboard through the or hone your skills at our accessible skateboard compound bash!<\/p>\n

Alt Route<\/strong> is an accessible skateboarding program based in Calgary, Alberta that strives to create a safe, inclusive, and accessible skatepark experience for children, youth and young adults living with sight loss.<\/p>\n

For<\/strong>: CNIB participants ages 7-25. Siblings who fit that age range also welcome to accompany their sibling.<\/p>\n
