Tandem Cycling<\/h3>\n

Join us at North Glenmore Park to try out Tandem Cycling! Tandem bicycles have two riders, The person in the front is the captain and the person in the rear is called the stoker. All ages and abilities are welcome!<\/p>\n

Goalball<\/h3>\n

Children, Youth and Recreation<\/p>\n

ASRAB is excited to invite you to learn and play goalball!<\/p>\n

Come and try the Paralympic sport of goalball! Goalball is played on a volleyball sized court with tactile tape, an audible ball, and eye shades.<\/p>\n

Discover how to play and develop some new skills!<\/p>\n

All abilities are welcome. All equipment is provided. All you need to do is show up and have fun!<\/p>\n

Cost<\/strong>: Free for members.<\/p>\n

Location<\/strong>: Cedarbrae Community Centre, 11024 Oakfield Dr SW, Calgary, AB T2W 5G6<\/p>\n

Schedule<\/strong>: Fridays 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.<\/p>\n

Adults are welcome for the entire session, children are invited for the second hour of each session.<\/p>\n

Walking Club<\/h3>\n

Come catch a breath of fresh air and join in on our walking club! Walking club will be held at different parks and walking paths around the Calgary area. Walking Club will take place outdoors depending on weather conditions.<\/p>\n

Dates<\/strong>: Every Sunday (weather permitting and excluding long weekends)<\/p>\n

Time<\/strong>: From 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.<\/p>\n

Where<\/strong>: Locations to be announced via e-mail after registration.<\/p>\n

Registration<\/strong>: Please register by emailing Program.calgary@asrab.ab.ca<\/a> with participants age, name and phone number.<\/p>\n

Volunteers Needed<\/strong>: contact above e-mail if interested<\/p>\n

Membership Reminder<\/h3>\n

Please join ASRAB, to have access to sport and recreation programming for persons with visual impairment. Memberships are on a calendar year (January 1-December 31).<\/p>\n

Membership fees:<\/p>\n

$20.00 for Individuals [to a maximum of $40.00 per family]<\/p>\n

We now have online forms that allow you to complete your membership online and use a credit card to make payment.<\/p>\n
