Tap shoes are worn so that as the dancer moves, the shoes click against the dance floor, creating a tapping sound. Tappers can create a variety of rhythms with their feet by tapping, sliding, and clicking the metal plates. Tap shoes will be provided if you do not have your own.<\/p>\n
