ASRAB invites our members of all ages to try out Archery!
Para-Archery is a Paralympic sport, and Visually Impaired archery athletes will be competing in the 2020 Paralympic Games! The objective of the sport is to shoot arrows accurately at a target marked with 10 concentric rings.
Instructors will help you learn the proper form and technique for shooting accurately, and a sighted assistant (known as a spotter) will help you shoot safely and give you feedback.
You are welcome to bring a friend or family member to assist you as a Spotter.
Cost: an up to date ASRAB membership ($15 2016)
Dates: Tuesday August 9, 2016
Time: 6:00-8:00pm
Location: Wyld Archery (14805 Yellowhead Trail NW), access from the service road along Yellowhead Trail.
