Horseback Riding

Join us at Lasting Strides Equine for therapy riding! Build a connection with a horse by brushing, grooming, and riding.

Ages: All Ages

Where: Lasting Strides Equine, Range Rd 281, Delacour, AB T0M0T0

When: Friday August 11, 2023

Time: 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

Cost: $50 for members

Sailing Try-it!

Join us for a group sailing experience with the Disabled Sailing Association of Alberta! They offer sailing that is accessible for all ages and abilities.

Ages: All Ages

Where: DSAA Boatyard, 8415 24 ST. SW

When: Wednesday August 23, 2023

Time: 6:30 – 8:00 p.m.

Cost: $20 for members

Walking Club

Walking club will be held at different parks and walking paths around the Calgary area. Walking Club will take place outdoors depending on weather conditions.

Dates: Every Sunday (weather permitting and excluding long weekends)

Time: From 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Where: Locations to be announced via e-mail after registration.

Registration: Please register by e-mailing Program.Calgary@asrab.ab.ca with participants age, name and phone number.

Alt Route and CNIB Skateboarding!

Learn how to skateboard through the or hone your skills at our accessible skateboard compound bash!

Alt Route is an accessible skateboarding program based in Calgary, Alberta that strives to create a safe, inclusive, and accessible skatepark experience for children, youth and young adults living with sight loss.

For: CNIB participants ages 7-25. Siblings who fit that age range also welcome to accompany their sibling.

Where: The Compound YYC, 840 26 Ave SE Calgary, AB.

When:

Wednesday August 2, 9 & 16 4:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m.
Additional dates TBD.

The City of Calgary Adaptive Family Golf Nights

When: August 19

Time: 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Where: McCall Lake Golf Course, 1600 32 Avenue NE
