Celebrating Success at Para Pan-Am Games – ASRAB’s Goalball Athletes Shine!
We’re thrilled to share the exciting news of ASRAB’s success at the 2023 Para Pan-Am Games in Santiago, Chile!
The Canadian Men’s and Women’s Goalball teams!
In a thrilling gold medal final, the Women’s Goalball team secured a 4-3 victory against the U.S., earning their spot at the Paris 2024 Paralympics. ASRAB athletes Meghan Mahon and Brieann Baldok, led by ASRAB Coach Trent Farebrother, proudly represented ASRAB on the international stage. The Men’s team, led by ASRAB athlete Blair Nesbitt and Assistant Coach Darren Hamilton, triumphed with a 6-2 victory in the Bronze medal game against Argentina.
