Bower Ponds Spring Walk

Spring has sprung, and it’s time to enjoy the fresh outdoor air! Come join us for a relaxing walk around Bower Ponds. All ages welcome!

Cost: Free!

Ages: All

Location: Bower Ponds – 4715 Fountain Drive, Red Deer, T4N 6W4

Try Rowing 2026 Class –
Let us know if you want this!

Interested in learning to row? Let us know by April 30 if you would be interested in participating in a “Try It” session for rowing, led by the Central Alberta Rowing Club. Please contact program.reddeer@asrab.ab.ca

The Rowing Club has both dryland machines and boats to try. If you want to go on the water during the session, the organizer recommends participants be able to swim even though safety devices will be provided. If you are able to bring a support person for the session, that would be excellent.

Cost: $10

Ages: 13 plus

Location: Lacombe Lake (5km south of Lacombe)

Goalball Local Practices 2026

Come and try the Paralympic sport of goalball! Discover how to play, meet some of our goalball athletes and coaches, and develop some new skills! All ages and skill levels welcome!

Cost: Free!

Ages: All Ages!

Location: Gateway Christian School (4210 59 St, Red Deer)
