Sight Night!
Join us for Sight Night Red Deer on Saturday, October 17, 2026
– 3km, 5km, 8km run or walk options
Sight night is a fun-run fundraiser that takes place after dark… vision optional, which allows runners to be on a level-playing field with the visually impaired. Those who participate have the unique experience of watching as hundreds of headlamps bob and weave along the pathways, creating a sense of excitement and camaraderie. Come join us and get in on the fun! Come as a participant or let us know if you can volunteer.
Date: Saturday, October 17, 2026 – run starts at 6pm

Adaptive Abilities Tumbling Class

A program run by Premier Academy.
This is an adaptive tumbling program designed specifically with special abilities in mind and translating strength to a fun and welcoming tumbling environment. Through this class participants will improve physical abilities, balance, coordination, strength, endurance, flexibility, and all in an environment to build social skills and confidence. This class will include adaptive & assisted tumbling, obstacle courses, parachute activities, bounce house and a wide array of games and activities for fun.
Cost: Free
Ages: 4-24

A Nordic ski weekend for new and experienced skiers. Ski for Light Canada is hosting a welcoming and accessible weekend event where persons who are blind or visually impaired can discover the joy of cross-country skiing in Northern Alberta.
You are invited to our first annual Edmonton event, rooted in community, fun, teamwork, and social connection.
