Looking for a fun and social way to enjoy the outdoors? We’ve got the sport for you! Lawn bowling is an outdoor sport where the objective is to roll 4 balls across flat grass and have them stop close to a target ball. For people with visual impairments, a director guides them by telling them the direction and the distance in which to bowl the balls.
Where: Calgary Lawn Bowling Club – 3375 Spruce Dr SW, Calgary, AB T3C 3A3
When: Saturday June 15th & Monday June 17th.
Time: 7:00-9:00pm
Registration Fee: FREE
What to Wear: Bowlers play in comfortable clothing of any colour, ensuring only that they wear flat-soled shoes to avoid damaging the greens
